I am so proud to say that I received 3rd prize in the British Bear Artist Awards with Loretta (dressed bear category) and was also a finalist with Mungo in the miniature section

Hello, my name is Pauline Wood and I make am the designer and artist behind Valewood Bears.

Pauline's Bears
My bears and bunnies range from about 3"-15"(13-38cm) are made from quality Mohair, Alpaca or sometimes quality plush fabric and come gift boxed. They are fully jointed with either cotter pins or nuts and bolts. They are weighted according to their size with a mixture of polyester, plastic pellets and steel shot (which is enclosed in a little bag).

Charlotte's Bears
My daughter Charlotte's bears range from about 2"-4.5" (5-11cm). They are made from quality Mohair, Alpaca or mini bear plush fabric. She makes very few bears as she is in show business and is always busy with rehearsals. However, she finds it very therapeutic to sew them backstage, making a profitable use of her nervous energy.

Safety
All bears are designed with the collector in mind and because of the traditional components used are unsuitable for children unless bought as an heirloom keepsake and kept safe, out of reach.

Clothes
I like to design and make clothes for bears. They may be knitted, crocheted or sewed by machine using top quality yarns and fabrics.

Cards
I also like to make bear-related greetings cards. If you would like me to personalise your cards for you I would be happy to do so.

Gift Boxes
All bears come gift boxed and, if requested, I will create personalised gift cards.

Please check my website and EBay regularly for our bears, cards and clothes. I'll update my 'news page' when I have anything new.
